Pet travel scheme
Eurotunnel is a particularly good choice for less able-bodied passengers from the UK and France as all drivers and passengers stay in the comfort of the vehicle.
Our Passenger Terminal Building is also on one level, with parking spaces nearby for cars displaying the disabled badge. There is easy access to the shops, the Food Village, toilets and low-level telephone booths.
We are happy to assist passengers who use a wheelchair or need assistance with mobility on board. Just inform us at check-in.
On leaving the terminal follow the overhead signs to the boarding lanes. Vehicles displaying the disabled badge are boarded at the front of the shuttle, this is for safety reasons and to assist in the unlikely event of an emergency.
Please note:
Please arrive 45 minutes before reserved departure time.
Registered Guide Dogs
If a disabled person is travelling with a guide dog you need to inform us. We will book them into the system and ensure the guide dog complies with the regulations set out under the Pet Travel Scheme (PETS) and the dog will travel free.
